House Tour // Outdoor Spaces

I’m so excited to take you on the first leg of my House Tour today! Let’s begin with the great outdoors! As I mentioned in my first post, I live in a condo/townhome. There’s an HOA, so we’re limited as to what we can do outside, but with approval we are allowed to make some updates.

In the front of each unit we have two parking spaces, and raised flower beds with stone retaining walls on either side of the door. In my previous post, I shared that I’m trying to improve my gardening skills, so I’ve been working on planting flowers in hopes of upping my curb appeal while secretly competing with my neighbor for who did it better (if you’re wondering, he’s winning).  And I’m also excited to reveal the other (bigger) changes I’ve made as well. Shall we begin??

Good morning, happy Saturday and happy weekend!

So guys, I did it! I actually started BBG this week like I said I was going to in this post. Yay!!! And I’m proud of myself for doing it. So I wanted to come on today and just check in with you all, and give you the scoop on how it went!

Finding My Style // Home Decor

I never used to like asparagus, or broccoli, or peas… okay, I still don’t like peas, haha, but I love, love, LOVE asparagus and can handle, and even enjoy, a side of broccoli if it’s steamed just right. But I digress, because this post isn’t about green veggies. But decor tastes can definitely change over time in the same way your palette can.

Make It A Habit // Health & Fitness

Hello, happy Wednesday! I’m jumping on the blog today with a post about fitness, injuries, my relationship with exercise and my goals moving forward.

I never was an athlete growing up. I absolutely dreaded P.E., especially after dislocating my kneecap in 6th grade and then spending three weeks in a straight leg cast to prevent it from happening again. NOTE: it has dislocated several other times over the years, but I digress! It made running less fun (not that it ever was for me, lol), and it also made me more fearful of hurting myself again. I don’t think I ever did another cartwheel after that fateful gymnastics P.E. lesson back in ’96.
