Friday Free Flow – 12.21.18

Today is the first day of winter, and it was a warm 62 degrees here in SEPa… I wore a red sweater and sparkly jewelry (trying to be festive for the last day of work before the holiday), and rolled up jeans with slip-on sneakers and my ankles exposed… I’m not used to warm winters, but I’m not complaining.

It was also our company Christmas lunch. Tradition for the last day of work before the Christmas holiday. We had a lovely Italian feast of pastas and chicken parm and pizza. It was nice to gather with my coworkers, take a break from the day to day and share a meal together.

But work was actually kinda busy, and it made me mad, lol…hot jobs coming in right up to the 12 o’clock lunch hour. But I set them aside to join the festivities. And got them taken care of before I was able to leave at 3:30, so that was nice.

Even if there were some not so festive four letter words flying just before then… hahaha…

There were three of us left in the office and we were all dropping the F bomb. Led by me. Oopsie! I’m not proud, but admitting there’s a problem is the first step in recovery, right? Seriously, cleaning up my potty mouth is my number one #newyearsgoal

We had a good laugh about it anyway.

This week was quite busy actually. And there were lots of treats. Cookie trays (LOTS of cookie trays) and a surprise Hawaiian pizza. I tried to behave. I said tried.

Here’s to hoping next week is quiet.

How was your Friday?

Many thanks and much love,
laf
