House Tour // Bedroom

Hello! Welcome back! It’s been quite a few weeks since the last leg of the house tour, but today we continue on to the Bedroom. If you missed any of the other spaces, you can catch up by visiting my outdoor spaces, my entry, kitchen and dining room, my living room and study, and all the in-between spaces on the way upstairs. Now, on to the Bedroom. Enjoy!

Before

It’s a miracle, no yellow! More like pea soup though. This MLS photo doesn’t show the true green color that was in the bedroom when I bought the house.

During

Time to neutralize! And get rid of the pea soup…

After

My blue IKEA dresser is quite a statement. I recently added the carved wood mirrors and hats to the wall.

A gold tray is home to all of my rings and a random necklace (or two) and bracelet.

The biggest change I made in the bedroom was switching the closet doors from sliders to bi-folds.

My makeup vanity was made for this corner. Thanks to my Mom for finding the perfect piece for this spot.

The small alcove is just right for more jewelry storage.

Statement necklaces on display act as artwork.

A DIYed eucalytus peace sign wreath hangs on my door.

The coordinating IKEA chest of drawers (in white) holds my undergarments. Shhh…

“It’s not what you look at that matters. It’s what you see.” – Henry David Thoreau

Shoe storage Part 1…

A tapestry from Society 6 draws on all the colors in my palette and helps to camouflage the television.

We can all use a reminder to DREAM.

A DIYed dream catcher hangs on the opposite side.

Still-To-Do List Check-In
  • Hang carved mirrors over dresser
  • Hang hats
  • Hang “It’s not what you look at…” print
  • Replace ceiling fan Not needing the fan right now, so will probably tackle this towards the end of spring as we get closer to the hot summer.
  • Add a shoe basket I added this, and then took it away… repurposed the basket that is. I may still add another, to collect the shoes from the week before putting them away. Or I could just put them away.

Thank you for joining me on my bedroom tour!

Many thanks and much love,
laf
