Make A Statement // Gallery Walls

Hello hello! Jumping back into my Make A Statement series today!

On Wednesday I revealed my Stairway update. I added a gallery wall, which I’ve been mulling over and meaning to do forever. And I think it’s looking really cool. Did you get to see it? If you missed it, you can check it out HERE.

There are so many ways to tackle a gallery wall. You can have a perfect grid with matching frames. All black and white photography. You can do matching frames but mismatched art: some colorful, some black and white, some photos, some paintings, some typographic prints. You can have mismatched frames with similarly styled art. You can have no frames at all! You can do an organic placement rather than a perfect grid. You can also mix in other kinds of wall hangings, with different shapes and textures. Maybe a mirror or antlers or metal art or macrame or a hanging plant. That’s a lot of maybes, huh? But the only limit is your imagination.

I have a boatload of inspiration over on the old Pinterest board! Are you surprised?? You can browse my board HERE. But please pin from the original sources. Here. We. Go!

What are your thoughts on gallery walls? Are you over them? Or do they still add that spark?

Let me know what you think!

Many thanks and much love,
laf
