I Need A Hobby // Gardening, Revisited

Hello, Happy Wednesday and Happy May Day! It’s time for my monthly hobby update!

Still going strong with my¬†reading hobby! For my April read, I completed Laura Vanderkam’s time management fable Juliet’s School of Possibilities, and started Jillian Michaels’ 6 Keys which I’ll continue into May and will probably keep as a background read, and pick another book for the official May title, still TBD.

Last month I introduced a new series on the blog all about hobbies. I’ll be trying new hobbies and rekindling old ones that I’ve let fall by the wayside. I’m jumping on the Marie Kondo bandwagon and getting rid of what doesn’t spark joy! But more on that next week!

Today I want to restart my series on hobbies that I began last year with my gardening post (HERE) and never continued beyond that. So the plan is that every month I will be introducing a new hobby I want to tackle, and hopefully by the end of the year I’ll have a few new things that I enjoy doing to fill my free time more thoughtfully.

First up, reading!

But, I am feeling a need to broaden my horizons and take on some new activities. Variety is the spice of life, right? So I’m starting a series about just that. First up, gardening!
