Hello, hello! It’s time for part two my new series, Go Boho! If you missed part one, all about COLOR, you can check it out HERE.
Today we’ll dive into all the ways PATTERN can help you express your boho flair!
Welcome to part one of my new series, Go Boho!
Today we’ll be exploring the various ways to use COLOR in your home to achieve a touch (or a lot) of bohemian charm.
If you’re in the States, I hope you enjoyed the Independence Day holiday and were able to make it a long weekend! I took Friday off of work and am enjoying the much needed rest after a very long June!
I wanted to hop on real quick this morning to introduce a new 6-part series coming up on the blog: Go Boho!
I am not a natural homemaker, nor am I a perfect housekeeper. At all. Not in the least. There, I’ve said it. It’s sad, but true.
But it’s the nature of “adulting” that you have to do these things, among many other things you may not want to do, things you may not be good at, things you should do. And keeping your house clean and tidy is one of those things. Right? So since it isn’t second nature to me, I need as much help as I can get in making these chores stick.
So how do I change my colors and make these chores stick as habit? Good question… let me know if you have the answer! lol…
I like spending big bucks to repair something that no one will ever see, said no one ever! How about, I like shelling out my hard earned money to keep up on home maintenance tasks so as to try to avoid said repairs? Blah, blah, blah, no bueno…
Ugh, the joys of home ownership…amiright?
Earlier this year, on my 35th birthday, I wrote a “bucket” list of 40 items (in no particular order) to achieve by the time I turn the big 4-0. A way to push myself to get the most out of the years I have left in my 30s. If you missed it, you can read the list HERE. While I love the home I live in now, one of the things on my list to do in the next five years is to “buy a farm house of sorts.”
Today is four years to the day since I closed on my current home. And while I’m not quite ready to put the sale sign up just yet, I thought it would be fun to make a list of all the things I’d love to have in my next home. I realize it’ll be hard to come by all of these things in a single property that I could actually afford, but why not dream big, right?!
