Using Mini Habits

Hello Friends, Hump Day is here yet again…how are you?

I’m hanging in there. Hope you are too.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t have anything planned in my editorial calendar for this week’s post. In fact, I had this topic scheduled for a post in late July. But I’ve decided to introduce it now and then check in later (#accountability).

Happy June 1st!

And Happy 100 Day Challenge Day (that’s a thing, and it’s today)!

Last week was not only a 4-day work week because of the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, but it was also my first week back to doing an alternating office/WFH/office/WFH schedule at work. It seemed like the longest short week ever! I am grateful though that this was my biggest concern.

A 100 Day Challenge

Hello, hello!

Today I am excited (and a little nervous #accountability) to announce my first ever 100 Day Challenge! I don’t think I’ve mentioned the concept of a 100 Day Challenge here on the blog before (or anywhere actually). I heard about it on A Beautiful Mess, first on their blog (HERE) and then on their podcast. The idea is to pick a few goals to really focus on for 100 days. They can be big projects to accomplish, or small habits to hone, or anything in between really.

Living With Less // Can I Konmari?

How goes it, my lovelies?

Today I bring you another Living With Less post. In my last post, I asked “Is Less Really More?” (HERE) and today I’m asking (myself mostly), “Can I Konmari?”

If you’re here today, then I imagine that you’ve heard of Marie Kondo and her Konmari Method, or her book The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up. I haven’t read her book, but I watched the first season of her Netflix series. I was intrigued and on the verge of attempting her method last January. But I feel like I may not be able to keep to the rules…

40 x 40, An Update

Good day friends!

As of today, according to Sir Google, there are officially 1,357 days left until my 40th birthday. Ugh, lol!

Last year, on my 35th birthday, I published a list of 40 things (HERE) I wanted to accomplish before I reached that milestone birthday. That of course was before my world fell apart, back when I thought my life (in the short term at least) would be much brighter than I now see it (dimmed by my dad’s illness and ultimate passing, followed by a global pandemic). Despite everything that has happened in the last year, I haven’t given up on this challenge, but I have decided to rewrite the list. I even made it one of my 20 Goals for 2020 (HERE), and I have achieved that goal, hooray!

Monday Musings // 5.11.2020

Happy Monday! And another week has passed…

Last week, in my little work bubble, I returned to what seemed like semi-normalcy… well, as normal as normal can get right now. It was normal-ish in that after working from home on Monday, I was back in the office every day for the remainder of the week. I must say that I have gotten a little too used to my one day in, one day at home alternating schedule! I had to get dressed in real clothes every day! That being said, it wasn’t all bad. Both the other CSR and I were in the office at the same time because our boss was out of the office… because… he and his wife welcomed a baby girl on Wednesday night! Congrats!!!
