Updated Office Reveal :::squeal:::

I live in a three-bedroom, townhouse-style condo, and since day one the second bedroom has been set up as a home office/studio space for my freelance graphic design work (and this blog, of course). It has had many iterations over the last ten years. You can see the most recent tour HERE.

Since that last tour, I moved my IKEA wing back chair up from the living area downstairs so I have a comfier place to read my business books. I also got a standing desk from Flexispot. And of course I rearranged everything… probably more than once. Aside from my living room, this space has probably changed the most often.

And I finally painted the base of my sewing table, which I’ve been wanting to do for literal YEARS! It’s the same color as the inside of the closet. I’m mostly happy with how it turned out…

The truth is I’m never 100% satisfied with any of my spaces. I’m always adjusting. But that is part of the fun, isn’t it? The ever-present quest to make a space feel complete. Wanting to tweak this thing or that thing ever so slightly. Or maybe it’s just my perfectionistic tendencies getting the best of me… though I’m really not complaining, I enjoy the ongoing challenge.

So without further ado, the current landscape of my home office/design studio!

I think this current iteration of my office/studio space is my favorite so far. I still have a couple of projects on my punch list, but they’re more functional than for aesthetics. The only thing that would make this space even better for me (functionally and aesthetically), is replacing the carpet with hardwood-look laminate. That is on the punch list as a someday maybe, but that decision is still wayyy down the road.

Do you have a space that you adjust time and again?
