Is it just me or is this year flying? In January and February when we had a cold snap, the days were dragging, frozen in time (literally and figuratively) but once it got warmer now time is speeding by. It’s already June!?
May was a pretty good month for goals. My Google sheet says 90% which is awesome! I did tweak a couple of goals along the way, some were postponed (either moved to this month or ‘til next year), and some I just didn’t achieve (again).
I finally got my curriculum goal (I discussed this more in depth HERE) to a good place and had success this month, so I’m looking forward to continuing that in this month.
And I am still struggling with the weight loss goal. I feel like I take one step forward and two steps back, losing the same 1-2lbs each week because I regain them along the way. Or did I ever really lose them? This month I’m refocusing, attempting a 30-day health challenge to really dial in on it. I’m not giving up!

Reading List
I thought I’d start adding my reading list to these posts. Not all are official goals, but I do like to read more than just what’s on that list. I got a couple of my Summer TBR / new releases from Libby at the end of May so I’m reading those plus a few others (from goals and curriculum):
- Summer of Second Chances by KL Walther
- The Night We Met by Abby Jimenez
- Price of Scandal by Lucy Score
- Everyday Super Food by Jamie Oliver
- Big Time by Laura Vanderkam
- The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron
I’m hoping that the May momentum continues into June. I’m feeling positive about it. I also have some time off from my full time job scheduled toward the end of the month, so I can maybe make some more progress on bigger goals on those days (particularly the Mom-related goals, since I’m taking off to celebrate her birthday—they’ll be a gift she’d appreciate).
What goals are you tackling in June?
