About LAF Lines
At its core (and origin), LAF Lines is a freelance graphic design business established in 2006. Since then, I have brought a home decor blog, that launched in 2018, into the fold.
In both realms, LAF Lines promotes a down to earth approach to design.
I believe that design should be approachable, easy to achieve on any budget, and have the appeal of a comfortable, lived in pair of jeans. Or favorite sweater.
LAF are my initials, but they stand for so much more. Not only a homophone for laugh, but an anagram for love, light, laughter, learning, art, ambition, attitude, aptitude, fun, fashion, family, friends, food, fitness, focus…

Hi there! I’m Lisa, owner and creative force behind LAF Lines!
I’m an on-the-cusp Millenial working a day job in commercial printing while nurturing an undying love for all things home decor and design.
When I’m not working as a CSR or blogging at LAF Lines, I’m a sky enthusiast and lover of laughter. I love reading, and collage. Making a plan, then making time bend to execute everything I want to (okay, okay— I wish that were the case— more like, I then decide what’s priority in any given season).
I have a penchant for perfectionism and procrastination in the form of Pinterest-scrolling, but also a desire to develop new, healthy habits (while kicking old ones to the curb).
My hope here is to share inspiration for how to live truly and fully, without fear of being real, with fun and laughter and all the things that make life worth living. I’m a work in progress and am learning how to (be brave enough to) do this every day.
I’d love if you join me on my journey as I chronicle my home decor evolution (and share the tips I’ve learned too) and also my attempts to expand life experiences, live up to internet accountability, and strive to improve my capabilities; and hopefully I’ll inspire you to do the same along the way!
