Upcoming: 6M4L – Project 180

This year my word of the year is reinvention, but I have yet to really do anything about this. I started off with grandiose ideas about how I was going to work on changing my life, but have I done any of those things? Not really. That’s not to say I haven’t worked on goals, just not the big scary ones that will really move the needle. Ya know? Or at least with not enough focus. Too many other things are distracting me…

Reflecting on…My List of 100 Dreams

Today’s reflection is on my progress (or lack thereof?) with my List of 100 Dreams. So what is a List of 100 Dreams? It’s pretty much right in the name… The list can include little dreams, big dreams and all the dreams in between. Makeover Moodboard 002

I’m back with another Makeover Moodboard! If you missed the first post in this series, you can catch up HERE. Monday Musings: Weekend Resets

Wouldn’t it be great if it was as simple as pushing a button? lol…alas, it is not! So I had planned to write about this topic what feels like ages ago, then changed my mind and rescheduled it to this random Monday in July and promptly forgot about it. It’s actually perfect timing though, because I just revamped my weekend reset routine. For summer, but maybe also forever.

Revealed! Hobby Stations

I think one of the obstacles with any hobby is the barrier to entry. How difficult is it to get started? I don’t mean on your first attempt. But if you want to sit down and do X, what is involved to actually begin? Do you have to clear off a surface? Do you have to dig the supplies out of a closet? Do you have to rack your brain as to where you even stored them?

Tips for Decorating with Books

Full disclosure here: I have a lot of books, but I wouldn’t say I decorate with them outside of the norm… that is, I have them on bookshelves and I think they’re styled quite cutely, if I do say so myself. I also try to display the books that I’m currently reading in a decorative way, stacked on a table or in a tray on my couch. But to say I decorate extensively with books would be a lie. That doesn’t mean I don’t have some ideas about what you (and I) could do to use books as decor!
