One of the projects that I decided to tackle in my latest 100 Day Challenge, was an update to the vanity corner of my bedroom. Today I am pleased to report that have checked this task off of my list! It still needs some work (mostly sorting through all of my jewelry), but the bulk of the transformation is completed and I’m excited to share the progress I’ve made!
Today I am excited to share the long anticipated (by me at least!) Hall Closet reveal! This storage space has undergone several small transformations since I last shared it on the blog (HERE). But I’ve continually felt like I wasn’t getting the most out of it…
Today I am SO excited to share the real of Phase 1 of my bathroom renovation! Not only am I excited, but I’m so proud of what I accomplished to transform this space from what it was to what it is now. Hello friends! I’m back on the blog today to share a recent update to my bedroom.
Drumroll please…I painted an accent wall!
First, a little backstory: when I purchased the paint for my bathroom and powder room makeovers back before I had even moved in, I wayyy overestimated what I needed and bought a full gallon. I used about half of that (and I even painted the inside of my coat closet too!). And over the past year or so I have toyed with the idea of adding an accent wall behind my bed. Conveniently enough it just so happens that the leftover paint I’ve been saving is one of the colors in my bedroom color scheme. No brainer, right? So, I finally pulled the trigger, and I’m loving it! And I still have a lot of paint left haha…

I’m baaack! I’m popping in today to share a little house project/update I’ve been slowly working on for a couple of weeks and just completed (this morning). I finally hung that gallery wall I’ve been wanting to add to my stairway! Hooray!

Hello hello! Another Wednesday, another blog post! As I recently shared, I’m making some design tweaks to several of the spaces in my home, and I’ll be sharing them here on the blog over the coming weeks. Happy Saturday friends! It is absolutely glorious outside today. Oh how I wish it had been this nice when I worked on making over my shed closet last week! I was drenched from humidity within 20 minutes, lol… but I digress! Today I am here to share the fruits of my labor! The reveal of my shed closet, hooray!
I have never shared this space on the blog because it’s been so horrific. The most I had done to it prior to last weekend was to paint the outside of the door. It was peeling and looking very sad. I had to get the HOA to approve my taupe paint color, which they did. I scraped and lightly sanded and then painted it. But inside, other than to load and unload my patio furniture each fall and spring, I tried not to go in there. Bugs and darkness and ick, no thank you!
Hello my dears! This post has been A. LONG. TIME. coming. Many months, many backaches and many dollars later (why is landscaping SO expensive??), I’m finally ready to reveal the updates to my outdoor spaces.
Due to the weather destroying a lot of my planting efforts before all of my other updates were complete, this refresh ended up getting done in phases. The photo above is after Phase One, the first round of planting complete but not all of the other edits accomplished quite yet.
